Karl Wolfgang Epple, born 86 the son of a Samoan mother and a German father, is Executive Creative Director for the thjnk group, specialized in new business and creative excellence. In the last 5 years, he pitched 50+ brands. His favorite clients include Audi, IKEA, McDonald’s, Mercedes-Benz, Paulaner and Rewe.

Karl solely believes in ideas that impact culture. His work has been recognized with numerous industry awards including Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, LIA, Clio, ADC, Eurobest and The One Show.

When he joined the German ADC, he became their youngest member ever. He now shows great interest in supporting the next generation of creativity, teaching at several universities and judging in international award shows. 


Karl also wrote a novel, and several articles, e.g. for the Huffington Post. 
His favorite dinosaur is Triceratops, his favorite TV show character is Rick Grimes.
